The Low Desert Open is a tennis tournament, weekend retreat, and celebration of sport, art, and the great outdoors. Recreational players will compete while spectators and guests enjoy drinks, food, and music.

What if I’m not a camper? If you’re not a camper, there are plenty of places to stay in Borrego Springs. Here are links to find nearby accommodations.
What is the structure of the tournament? This is a singles tournament with men’s, women’s, and mixed brackets. Please, no current or former tour players. After purchasing a player ticket, we will get in touch to get all necessary details.
What if I’m running late or leaving early? The full event runs from 1 pm on Friday through Sunday afternoon, but you don’t need to be here the whole time. Tickets allow for re-entry, feel free to come and go as you please. For tournament players, matches will be scheduled from Saturday at 9 am ‘til Sunday at 11 am. A couple weeks before the event, we’ll send you an email with the draw and match times.
Will food and drink be provided? Friday’s pasta night will be served by Romano’s Italian Restaurant. On Saturday afternoon there will be a taco truck. Breakfast will be a spread of sweet and savory baked goods and fresh fruit. Drinks will be provided courtesy of our sponsors. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will be available for all meals. For other meals we recommend you head into town.
Do I have to play tennis to attend? No. Many guests will be here to spectate, chill by the pool, and enjoy the desert. There will some open court time for those who are not competing.
Are pets or animals allowed? Pets are not allowed and will be turned away. NO emotional support animals, therapy animals, or companion animals. Only legitimate service animals that are properly trained and under the proper care of their owners will be provided with the appropriate credentials. Service animals should have legally required vaccinations (which may need to be verified).
Do I need to be vaccinated to attend this event? Yes. Please be prepared to show it upon arrival.
