The Low Desert Open is a tennis tournament, camping retreat, and celebration of sports, art, and the great outdoors. We’re inviting recreational players to compete in front of breathtaking mountain views. Spectators and guests will enjoy drinks, food, live music, swag and more on our 5-acre desert property.

What if I’ve never camped before?
If you’re not a camper, tent rentals are available. The tents will be pitched and ready. Just bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, and any other bedding you’d like. There’s access to bathrooms, showers and locker rooms. If “roughing it” isn’t for you, there are other accommodations listed below.

What is the structure of the tournament?
This is a singles tournament with single elimination men’s and women’s brackets. It is intended for amateur players with 3.5 ratings and up. Please, no current or former tour players. After purchasing a player ticket, we will get in touch to get all necessary details. 


What if I’m running late or leaving early? 
The full event runs from check-in at 1 pm on Friday through check-out at 3 pm Sunday. Tickets allow for re-entry and are good for all events over the course of the weekend. For tournament players, matches will be scheduled from Saturday at 9 am ‘til Sunday at 11 am. A couple weeks before the event, you will receive an email with the full weekend itinerary including match times. 


Will food and drink be provided?
Dinner will be served on Friday and Saturday and light breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Lunch will not be provided. Complimentary beer, JuneShine hard kombucha, and Boxed Water will be available on Saturday. There will also be a cash bar by Two Seven Eight.


What’s on the menu?
Friday’s pasta night will be served by Romano’s Italian Restaurant with natural wine pairings. Saturday night’s BBQ will be brought to you by Beyond Meat. Breakfast will be a spread of sweet and savory baked goods and fresh fruit. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will be available for all meals.


Do I have to play tennis to attend?
No. The Low Desert Open is intended for players, spectators, and those who are looking for a weekend in the desert.
